Eating Gluten-Free at Kapnos Kouzina

Kapnos Kouzina is one of my favorite restaurants in the Washington DC area. Their Greek food is incredibly delicious. My parents even said the Greek food here is some of the best they’ve had — which is saying something since they used to live in Greece! 

It is so easy to eat gluten-free at Kapnos Kouzina. They don’t have a gluten-free menu, but the waiters have all been able to help me navigate the menu to find what is, or can be made, gluten-free. And they always check with the chef to make sure everything is gluten-free. It’s a little more difficult to eat dairy-free. Many of the dishes contain yogurt, or feta cheese. So we usually get at least one dish that ends up having dairy. I don’t eat here all the time, so I don’t worry too much about the dairy! 

Kapnos Kouzina is in Bethesda, MD. There’s also a Kapnos on the Corner of 14th and W St, NW in Washington DC by the same owner.
